The general theme running through all of my research is that of nonlinear systems, solitons in particular. Methods by which infinite-dimensional PDEs are reduced to a finite set of ODEs are a principle focus. As the resulting set of ODEs are almost always analytically intractable, numerical methods are often brought to bear on the problem.
